VISUAL INPUT – CREATIVE OUTPUT: developing creativity and imagination in the classroom
When we provide rich visual input, we not only help our students develop their language abilities but also their creativity. This session will focus on the idea that awareness of the potential of the media and materials available to the teacher can lead to fresh and relevant ideas. Therefore, I will present a number of activities intended for adolescents and adults which aim at developing their creativity through exposure to different stimuli.
DEVELOPING WRITING SKILLS AT B1 AND B2 LEVEL
The aim of this session is to develop and improve students' writing skills between the beginning of B1 to the end of B2 level. We will look at activities which build from simple sentence construction to complete texts at B2 level. Through exercises, we can help students be aware of content, communication, organization and language, how they interlink to create appropriate writing texts for any given situation and to focus on the effect that their writing has on the reader.
